What hair do you supply?
We supply human hair sourced directly from Southeast Asia.
Authentic Extensions virgin hair exceeds industry standards as it is not processed. Replica virgin hair is acid-washed which damages the hair and the silicone coating creates the illusion that the hair is healthy. Hair vendors are continuously compromising quality for quantity however Authentic Extensions are a genuine alternative to the norm as they are not mixed with fillers, fibres or synthetic hairs which is why we can guarantee durable, authentic quality hair for you.
Our unprocessed hair bleaches and dyes very well and can also be diversely styled, cooperating with heat very well whilst sustaining its natural lustre when straightened or curled. Authentic Extensions can also be washed frequently to remove oils and product build up without affecting its quality.
Please note that some bundles have a slight different wave pattern as each bundle comes from a single donor.
All hair comes natural black/brown (1b).
What is 'Single Drawn' hair?
Our straight hair extensions are ‘Single Drawn’ which is the standard thickness that majority of hair extensions are available in. A standard bundle will contain around 50% full length hairs, and 50% varied length hairs. In basic terms, the hair will be thick at the top of the bundle and then taper off slightly towards the end. This is a popular choice due to its natural finish.
Will my hair extensions shed?
You may experience minimum shedding as the hair is manufactory stitched onto a thread weft.
Minimum shedding is completely normal however, Authentic Extensions’ wefts are tightly structured therefore if shedding is to occur; there will not be a noticeable difference to the weight or volume of your hair.
How much hair do I need to buy?
We recommend a minimum of 3 bundles of hair extensions for a full head weave install for lengths between 14” – 20”.
For a more voluminous, full bodied look, we recommend 4 bundles or more for any lengths between 22” – 28”.
For a traditional weave install or custom made wig which includes a lace product, we recommend 2 bundles of hair extensions for lengths between 14"-16” and a minimum of 3 bundles for lengths between 18” – 28”.
Can I colour my hair extensions?
Yes, Authentic Extensions can be coloured to your preference! However, please note that excessive bleaching can damage your hair extensions therefore regular deep conditioning is recommended to maintain its natural moisture.
How long will my hair extensions last for?
With good care and maintenance your hair extensions should last 3 years (minimum).
What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay with credit or debit cards. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Visa Electron and Maestro enabled debit cards.
If you are a PayPal user, you can pay via PayPal without having to enter your credit card details on the website.
At checkout, you can choose Klarna as your payment method. You will then be directed to the Klarna website to register and provide payment details. If you are already an Klarna user, just log in to your Klarna account. Then complete your order.
When will my order arrive?
Orders for delivery within the United Kingdom (UK) take anywhere between 3-10 working days upon dispatch.
In the event where next day delivery is available (while stock lasts) orders received before 1pm will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm the following day. Please note that orders placed by 1pm on Friday for next day guaranteed will be delivered on Monday.
During the festive season, deliveries may be delayed by a few days therefore please allow additional days in transit for your delivery. If there is a significant delay in delivery of your order, we will contact you via email.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide! Our main couriers include Royal Mail (International Tracked & Signed), DPD, Fedex, DHL, and USPS for all orders outside of the UK.
International deliveries have a lead time of 3-15 working days upon dispatch.

How do I request a refund or an exchange?
Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final. Refunds are not permitted, however exchanges may be accepted within 3 working days from receipt of delivery excluding lace frontals and lace closures.
We only exchange products if they are defective or damaged. Exchange requests should be sent via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We endeavour to deal with requests for exchanges within 10 working days.
